Lantal's Deep Dyeing process allows airlines and design studios to create fully custom carpet designs without pattern repetition — a departure from the manufacturing constraints that have historically limited cabin flooring to uniform, repeating motifs.

Communicating the potential of a textile manufacturing process is difficult with photography alone. The product isn't a carpet — it's the capability to produce any carpet. We created a CGI film that placed Deep Dyeing designs inside realistic cabin environments, showing what the technology enables rather than what it is.

The Approach

Showing what the technology enables.

The challenge was not to render a carpet. It was to demonstrate that a single manufacturing process can produce cabin flooring that responds to an airline's brand, defines distinct cabin zones, and contributes to the overall design language of the interior — all without the compromises of traditional production methods.

We built cabin environments with Deep Dyeing carpet designs integrated at floor level, lit and graded to the same standard as our airline cabin work. The film moves through multiple design directions, showing the range of the technology in context rather than in isolation.

The work was published by TheDesignAir as a Studio Spotlight — the leading aviation product design publication. The piece positioned Lantal's Deep Dyeing technology as a significant development in cabin design capability, with the CGI placing the product in the context that matters most to its audience: the aircraft interior.
